Norton's Florist - Main proudly serves the Birmingham, AL area. We are family owned and operated and committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.

Our main shop is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sundays.  Our branch stores are open from 9am to 5pm Mon-Fri and 9am-3pm on Sat.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

A local delivery fee of $9.95 will be added to each order, for each address. Deliveries outside our local delivery area are $15.95 (please call for delivery fees on international orders).

U.S. orders must be received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it. We do offer guaranteed 1-hour, rush and special deliveries at a nominal extra charge—please call our toll-free number to work out the details.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

If the recipient is not home, the parcel will be left in an approprate place if it appears safe or with a neighbor, and the recipient notified. If a neighbor is not available, a call tag will be left at the recipient’s address with instructions to pick up the order at our Southside shop at 401 22nd Street South.  It is important that we are provided with an accurate delivery address. In the case of an incorrect or incomplete address, resulting in a second delivery attempt, the customer may be billed for the second delivery.

In case of inclement weather (too hot/cold or impassable roads), delivery will be made on the next available day or scheduled at a different time at the customer's request if received in a timely manner.

Sunday deliveries are limited to funerals only.  Orders received before 9am on Sunday can be delivered in the our regular delivery area--orders received for delivery outside of our regular delivery area can not be guaranteed and confirmaton by phone or email is required.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.

When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We use this information to determine our users demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our users.
